I'm not really sure if this is the place for this, but I had a suggestion for a possible tool that the eRepublik staff could implement into the game. I have no idea how to contact the actual game staff, so I figured I'd post it here and hope someone who does know how to contact them sees it. If you guys think it's a good idea and you know how to contact the staff, I hope you talk with them about it.
A good tool to use would be a quick check on login status for MU members. On other games I've played, top players in alliances (MU equivalent) could see at what times players in the MU logged in. This would be helpful for MU commanders, 2nd commanders, and captains as it would help us keep track of activity of members. The current thing we get (last fight info) doesn't really help us determine anything other than the last time someone fought. I have very active members in Regiment 12 who haven't fought in a few days because they are saving up tanks and food for a big close fight. Seeing that they haven't fought in 5 days doesn't mean they are inactive though, just means they can't fight right now. I think it would be very helpful if the staff let us see last login time of people in addition to last battle time.
I also think it would be helpful if they added one more rank in MU leadership. Instead of just having commander, 2nd commander, and captain, I think it might help to add a "Lieutenant" position to each Regiment. Having one more leader for people to contact would make information dispersal, information collection, contact, etc. easier on all involved.
Sorry if this is old news to some of you year old players, but for me only a month old, I'm just trying to think of things that could make the game better for everyone. I figured I'd put this out there.
